I only recently began to quilt. Or sew at all, for that matter. I tried a while ago, but my oldest, now 8, was a toddler at the time, and it was just too difficult.
So, the sewing machine went in the attic, and then to an attic in another house, and then I caught the bug again. I took a few classes at my most wonderful Local Quilt Shop. And now I'm a full-on fabric addict. And now I can fix my own pajama pants.
I noticed a hole in the seam, and it took me all of 5 seconds to fix them up like new. I wouldn't have been able to do that a year ago.
See that hole?
They're now whole.
And I did it all by myself!!!
